Please read these terms carefully before booking with Purr Stay
By booking services at Purr Stay, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, health, and happiness of all cats in our care.
1. Facility Responsibility & Liability
1.1 Purr Stay operates as a professional cat boarding and daycare facility with trained staff and 24/7 monitoring.
1.2 While we take every precaution to ensure your cat's safety, pet parents acknowledge that cats may engage in activities that could result in injury.
1.3 Purr Stay is not liable for any injury, illness, or death of cats caused by pre-existing conditions, allergies, or natural causes.
1.4 In the event of a medical emergency, Purr Stay will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if necessary. All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the pet parent.
2. Health & Vaccination Requirements
2.1 All cats must be current on FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) and Rabies vaccinations.
2.2 Proof of vaccination must be provided at least 48 hours before check-in.
2.3 Cats showing signs of illness, parasites (fleas, ticks, worms), or contagious conditions will not be admitted. No refund will be issued in such cases.
2.4 Purr Stay reserves the right to refuse service if health requirements are not met.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 Pet parents must disclose all relevant information about their cat's health, behavior, and special needs during booking.
3.2 Pet parents are responsible for bringing their cat's regular food and preferred litter brand for the entire stay. While we have backup supplies available, bringing familiar food and litter prevents digestive issues and litter box problems.
3.3 Failure to disclose aggressive behavior, medical conditions, or medication requirements may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
3.4 Pet parents must provide emergency contact information and authorize veterinary care in case of emergency.
3.5 Pet parents are responsible for providing medications in original containers with clear dosage instructions.
4. Property Damage & Cleaning Charges
4.1 Pet parents are responsible for any damage caused by their cat to facility property, including but not limited to furniture, bedding, blankets, toys, walls, doors, or enclosures.
4.2 Urination or defecation on items outside the designated litter box area (such as bedding, blankets, furniture, or flooring) will incur cleaning and sanitization charges ranging from ₹500-₹2000 depending on the extent of damage.
4.3 Scratching or destruction of facility furniture, doors, or fixtures will be charged at repair or replacement cost.
4.4 All damage incidents will be documented with photos and communicated to the pet parent. Charges will be added to the final invoice.
4.5 Repeated damage by the same cat may result in denial of future bookings or requirement of a security deposit.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellations made 48+ hours before check-in will receive a full refund minus ₹500 processing fee.
5.2 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will forfeit the deposit.
5.3 No-shows will be charged for the full reservation amount.
5.4 Emergency cancellations due to documented medical or family emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5.5 Early pick-ups are non-refundable. If you pick up your cat before the end of the reserved period, no refund will be issued for unused days.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment is due in full at check-in unless a deposit has been paid.
6.2 For stays longer than 7 days, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
6.3 We accept UPI, and cash.
6.4 Late pick-ups after 7:00 PM will incur a ₹300 late fee per hour or fraction thereof.
6.5 Any additional services, medication administration, or damage charges will be added to your final bill.
7. Photography & Media Consent
7.1 By booking with Purr Stay, you consent to photos and videos of your cat being taken for daily updates.
7.2 Purr Stay may use photos and videos of your cat for marketing purposes (website, social media) unless you opt out in writing.
7.3 If you do not wish for your cat's images to be shared publicly, please notify us at the time of booking.
8. Indemnification
8.1 Pet parents agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purr Stay, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their cat's stay.
8.2 This includes but is not limited to injury to other cats, damage to property, or any legal claims.
9. Changes to Terms
9.1 Purr Stay reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
9.2 Changes will be posted on our website and communicated to active clients.
9.3 Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
