Persian Cat Boarding in Pune
The breed we board most, and the one that needs the most hands-on care.
Why Persian Cat Cats Need Specialist Boarding
Persians are the cat we see most, over 33% of cat owners in India keep one. Between the long coat, the flat face, and the quiet temperament, they come with needs that most boarding setups just aren't built around. We handle the daily brushing, keep the facial folds clean, run the rooms cool, and keep things calm enough that a sensitive cat can actually relax.
Persian Temperament & Boarding Fit
Persians are low-energy cats that like things quiet and predictable. Loud kennels, strange animals, and heat all throw them off, and in Pune the heat is a genuine worry for a good chunk of the year. That is why we run cage-free, keep the space calm and low-density, keep pheromone diffusers going, and air-condition the whole place.
How We Care for Persian Cats at Purr Stay
A Persian coat needs at least 15–20 minutes of brushing every day, slicker brush first and then a wide-tooth comb, or it mats. We wipe the facial folds daily with a warm damp cloth to stop build-up and infection. Persians are prone to hairballs and do best on a high-protein, fibre-aware diet, so we follow your feeding notes to the letter. Grooming add-ons (brushing and de-shedding) start at ₹500.

Frequently Asked Questions — Persian Cat Boarding Pune
Do you brush Persian coats daily during boarding?
Every day, yes. We work through the coat with a slicker brush and then a wide-tooth comb so it doesn't mat. If your cat has a heavy coat or is staying more than 3 nights, add a grooming session on top (₹500–₹800) when you reserve.
Do you clean the facial folds of flat-faced cats?
We do, daily, with a warm damp cloth. It keeps gunk from building up in the folds and heads off skin infections, which matter more here given Pune's humidity.
Is the facility air-conditioned for Persians?
The whole place is air-conditioned. Persians do not handle heat well, and a Pune summer is no joke, so the rooms stay cool, clean, and well-ventilated for the entire stay.
My Persian has PKD — can you manage their medication?
We can. We give medication exactly as your vet directs, at ₹100 per dose. Tell us about the PKD and anything else ongoing when you book, and we'll walk through the care plan together.
